Additional Learning Support – Undergraduate/Postgraduate Students

Support in Higher Education may be different to the support that you have had during school or college. It is important that you think carefully about the support that you might need, and make sure that you talk to us as soon as possible if you do need support.

You should contact the Additional Learning Support team on heals@confetti.ac.uk or telephone 0115 993 2321 to speak to a member of our HE support team.

We have a team of tutors who are able to provide some NMH (Non-Medical Help) support through the DSA.  This team will also be able to signpost people who are not eligible for DSA to the other services mentioned on this page.

At our main site, we have a Learning Resource Centre; a member of the Additional Learning Support team is on hand every day to help you or signpost you to other support services. Pick up a timetable from the LRC.

All students are allocated a tutor who can help and guide you through your studies with us.

Tutors adopt a ‘success for all’ approach by providing an inclusive curriculum, which aims to remove barriers to learning.

We have a team of staff who will be happy to signpost you to external services if you need any support that is not related to your learning.

There are many study skills workshops running at NTU that Confetti undergraduate and postgraduate students can access. During your induction, you will be given information about how to access these services.

Find out more here.

We want to work with you to make your time with us as successful as possible, and sometimes this means asking for a little bit of support. Don’t be afraid to speak up if you are struggling, and you will be guided to the most appropriate support that we are able to offer.
