Our new £9.1m Digital Media Hub opens September 2018 and will feature state of the art studios, labs and classrooms, a Learning Resource Centre, a contemporary cafe and a rooftop terrace. The new hub will provide a fantastic opportunity for students to kick start their creative careers, learning in brand new industry-standard facilities.
Be part of a community!
At Confetti you’ll be part of a community full of talented, inspirational creatives, studying alongside students with the same goals. We’ve seen loads of our students start their own businesses with classmates. So not only will you study with friends, work with our tutors on high profile projects but you’ll generally have a great time being part of a creative community.
We also know how to party! Our Christmas parties are legendary and DJ Yoda just played our Industry Week after show party.
Industry Week 2017
Each year we go off timetable for a week of workshops, lectures and masterclasses, delivered by top names from across Film, TV, Music and Games. As part of this year’s exclusive Industry Week we’ve had workshops with award-winning documentary filmmaker Nick Broomfield, a performance from world renowned DJ – DJ Yoda and advice from PlayStation Community Manager Hollie Bennett! This really is a one of a kind event, exclusive to Confetti students!

Amazing news as Nottingham Trent University have been rated Gold in the Government’s Teaching Excellence Framework. This means that if you choose to further your studies with a degree course at Confetti, you’ll be part of an institution recognised nationally for its outstanding teaching and learning. Check out the full tables here.
The TEF has been introduced to recognise and reward excellent teaching in order to better inform student choices about what and where to study. NTU is one of just 59 universities, colleges and other providers in the UK to receive the highest gold rating from the 295 that have taken part.
Showcase your work
Our annual college-level student showcase ‘Celebrate’ is a great event! Our students have the chance to display their work at Broadway Cinema, The National Videogame Arcade and Rough Trade – venues that are within minutes of Confetti, in the heart of Nottingham’s Creative Quarter.
This year, the Broadway Cinema screened our annual ‘Celebrate Short Film Festival’ showcasing documentaries, music videos, commercials and short film productions by our talented TV, Film & Acting students.
Our gaming gallery, digital media and VFX exhibition, presented at the National Videogame Arcade was a hit with family, friends, and the public.
The line-up at Rough Trade represented Confetti’s Music Performance andTechnical Events students – good vibes and great sounds. Whilst our performers took the stage, DJs hit the decks and the technical events crew pulled out all the stops with their lighting and sound skills.
Life in Nottingham
Nottingham is home to some brilliant music venues, cinemas, independent shops and festivals. We take to the streets to party for loads of events including Dot to Dot Festival and Hockley Hustle.
Do It For Real
In the last year we’ve offered our students real work experience at some pretty big events. Whether running the Confetti stage at Splendour Festival (working with The Darkness and Billy Ocean), crewing Notts TV programmes or performing at Confetti Live, there’s loads of opportunities to Do it For Real – read Hollie’s story.
