While many of you enjoyed the Christmas holidays and New Year, the construction of our Digital Media Hub has stayed very much on track and has become a fantastic structure in such a short space of time. Let’s have a look at some of the latest images we’ve taken.
Main Staircase
The pre-cast concrete staircases continue to be installed. Staircase 2 was installed last week and staircase 1 – the main staircase you can see from Convent Street – has been fitted on Tuesday 23 January.
Interior Fittings
The first mechanical and electrical fix installation is well underway and will continue over the next several weeks. The network cables will be purposely exposed on cable trays to give an industrial-style look.
The rooms are taking shape
The internal partition walls have now started to be installed and the external glazing is starting to show itself along the Convent Street higher levels.
